Research, development and
tailored solutions
The two production plants, in Longiano (FC) and in Subotica, Serbia, constantly collaborate with universities and research centers.
Every Ondaplast product is born from a technical and collaborative approach. Our R&D department works every day to design functional, durable, and customized solutions, studied based on the real application needs of customers and designed to last, optimize processes, and reduce environmental impact.
1982
The company was founded in 1982 by Filiberto Muccioli, who remains its owner and president, initially as a complementary activity supporting the family business at the time, which operated in the distribution of glass containers.
The very first products manufactured by Ondaplast were layer pads for bottle packaging, but it quickly became clear that Polionda® sheets could be extremely versatile. The company soon grew in production capacity, technical expertise, and, above all, quality, earning a position of leadership in the market.
1990
In the second half of the 1990s, Ondaplast entered the European market with the professionalism and know-how required to begin supplying major industrial packaging and automotive groups. Significant investments in production technologies and in the sales network allowed the company to continue growing and to strengthen its presence both in the domestic and European markets.
2000
During the 2000s, Ondaplast entered the pharmaceutical sector with the acquisition of major multinational clients.
2019
In 2019, Ondaplast took another significant step with the opening of Ondaplast Balkan in Serbia to better serve Eastern European markets. In the same year, pharmaceutical cleanrooms were installed at each facility, dedicated spaces for assembly and packaging designed to guarantee the highest hygiene and quality standards in Europe.
2025
Since its inception, Ondaplast has built its success on technological innovation, constant attention to customer satisfaction, and care for employee training and well-being.
The company has been operating for forty years but remains driven by a young and entrepreneurial spirit. In an increasingly global world, aware of environmental and social challenges, Ondaplast continues to look to the future with great enthusiasm, always seeing opportunities for growth.

Managing Plastic Waste
Ondaplast operates according to circular economy principles: recovering used packaging, recycling it, and reintegrating it into the production process. We use only 100% recyclable polypropylene, including food-grade material, and reduce waste and emissions through efficient processes and certified materials.
